Pike provided construction management services for the new Allison Maher Stern Snow Leopard Exhibit at the Central Park Zoo. The project included a new animal holding building and two observation areas. The exhibit’s rugged evergreen habitat, complete with a rocky waterfall, replicates the critically endangered snow leopard’s home below the tree line in the mountains of Central Asia. Work included false rock work to replicate the Himalayan mountains for animals to inhabit.

Through the newly constructed pavilions and rock work exhibits, visitors are able to view the animals up close through glass, and through a mesh wall.
